Unless you live under the rocks of social media, you’ve probably heard of Wordle before. This is a famous 5-character daily word puzzle game on the web. When you start playing Wordle, you’ll see why Wordle was so popular last year. Nothing is more satisfying than solving your daily puzzles first, but when you’re done, you’ll be hungry for more. You can install some of Wordle’s best alternatives to heal that hunger, but maybe you’re on the market for Wordle-like games with new difficulty spikes. Don’t look any further; Quordle is here. This project was first inspired by a group of word game fans playing Dordle, another alternative to Wordle.This allows for a more complex version of Wordle (now now Quadruple.. Originally designed by David Mah and later improved by Freddie Meyer, the game now has more than 2 million users per day, and this number seems to continue to grow. How to install Quordle on your Android device

Added a direct link to the Quordle web page to ensure you can navigate to the official version of Quordle. Like other progressive web apps, this game can be installed from the Chrome browser and behaves like a native Android app, similar to the Wordle installation in the previous guide.

Open Google Chrome.

Go to the Quordle home page. https://www.quordle.com..

Tap the three vertical dots to access the overflow menu on the right side of the address bar.

Tap Install App> Install..

This will add the Quordle app to your home screen and tap it to launch the app.

Quadruple setting

Turning on and changing some of Quordle’s default options will greatly improve your experience. Especially considering that you will spend more time solving 4 words instead of 1 word a day, this progressive app will spend more time than you are accustomed to with Wordle. The following describes the available options.

Launch the Quordle app and tap the drop-down menu in the upper right.

Tap setting Display the setting menu. From here, you’ll see a list of options that you can turn on and off using the slider.

After selecting the option you like, tap the “X” (upper right corner) to finish the setting.

Turn on (power), turn on (electricity, TV, etc.) Dark mode Inverts the background color and text. The background will be darker and the text will be lighter (white).

In colorblind mode, the correct text is highlighted in orange, and the misplaced text is highlighted in blue, thus changing the color of the text.

Turn on (power), turn on (electricity, TV, etc.) vibration You will hear a faint sound during playback. If you need to play silently, it’s a good idea to turn this off.

The key toggle option swaps keyboard layouts to swap backspace and shift positions. Change this option to resemble your preferred layout.

Achievement notifications are only displayed if this option is turned on. We recommend turning it on so that you can remember your achievements while playing.

There is a slider at the height of the keyboard, slide to the right to make the keys higher, and slide to the left to make the keys smaller. The adjustments made should be based on how your fingers fit the keyboard.

The final option is to tinker with the size of the game, with only two options to choose from: “Fit to screen” and “Always square tiles”. If you select “Always Square Tiles”, you will have to scroll through the word list, but “Fit Screen” will automatically fit the four puzzle quadrants without scrolling.

How to play Quordle

If you’re already familiar with Wordle, it’s easy to understand Quordle’s ruleset. You need to guess four five-letter words, and nine trials are provided to solve all four. Each letter of the word you guess counts into a puzzle of all four words. The best strategy is to reveal as much information as possible in the first few trials. You can then narrow down to the actual words. Puzzles change every day, giving you the opportunity to view and share your results, just like Wordle.

Go to the Quarter shortcut you installed on your home screen and open it.

A 2×2 grid is displayed, leaving 5 empty boxes on each row. When you start guessing a word, these boxes fill up. To see the ruleset, tap the circular question mark icon next to Practice.

Tap before jumping into the daily puzzles training.. “Practice” mode simulates how to play a typical quadruple puzzle.Use the on-screen keyboard to enter and tap a five-letter word guess come in..

As you type words, each word space will display the color of the letters. Like Wordle, yellow means the letters are in the wrong place, but in words, green means the letters are in the right place, and gray means the letters aren’t in the word. A useful feature unique to Quordle is how the characters on the keyboard visually reflect the status of the characters on the grid. If one of the four words has a “C” in the right place, the “C” key fills a quarter with green and acts like a coordinate to the position of a particular word.

Tap when you’re ready to tackle your daily puzzles every day.. Guessing each word is important in this mode, with only 9 attempts to resolve everything.

When you finish the puzzle, you will see “Quordle Complete” at the top. The timer for the next Quordle to come online is displayed below the completion message. Congratulations, you have solved your daily puzzles!

How to share results

After solving the Quordle, you have the option to share the results online.Tap share, Image sharing (Twitter)Download button (to save images), or Copy to clipboard..

No matter which option you choose, the results will be displayed without spoilers, so let’s be wild.

Tips to get started

Play religiously in practice mode.. Unlike Wordle, you have access to practice modes with an unlimited number of times you can play. By practicing, you will be accustomed to the format and find the best starting word, which will ease the boredom after solving daily puzzles.

Stick to your first words.. The first three guesses need to be the first word. Quordle requires an empirical approach to solving word puzzles, so you need to choose the best starting word to maximize the information you get. The starting word should cover all vowels and common consonants while not overlapping the same letter.

Choosing a quadrant to solve one word at a time.. Choose a section illuminated by many green and yellow letters to stitch the solutions together. Hopefully, solving one word will give you more clues in the other sections.
