We reported this: Google is kicking free users who used to use free G Suite with their own domain. At the moment there are not many options. Change providers or take a bite out of Google’s payment apple.

The old free version of G Suite will no longer be available as of May 1, 2022. according to Google in January. In the meantime, most of the affected customers have already decided on how to proceed.

However, Google intervened in this confirmation document changes have been made.

Among other things, this means that you have a few more days to move (if you want to move). The old free version of G Suite will no longer be available from June 1, 2022 – April 6.

Google also answers the question “Is there a free option if I don’t want to update G Suite?

The free option is available to all customers who don’t want to use Gmail with a custom domain (such as your-name@example.com) or want to manage multiple users. Customers who choose this option will continue to have access to the free version of Google Workspace services such as Google Drive and Google Meet, as well as additional Google services such as Google Search, Google Maps and YouTube. They also have access to paid content, such as movies purchased from the Google Play Store. In other words: everything that every “free user” on Google has.

Over the next few weeks, these users will see a waiting list message in their admin console. If users want to use the free option, they must register until June 1, 2022 in Admin console on this waiting listn so that their account is not automatically migrated to Google Workspace.

Waitlist customers can use the legacy free version of G Suite until the free option becomes available. Once that happens, they’ll get more information about what’s going on with the account. You have 60 days to try out the free option or select Google Workspace before making any changes to your account.

Definitely worth going with him. Look in the Google Communityi.e. answers like how to shop on personal Google account is moving and more.
