Nvidia has made its own GeForce Now cloud gaming service available for Macs with Apple’s silicon chip. Starting with the new version 2.0.40, the associated application works natively on Apple computers with M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max and M1 Ultra. Previously, Nvidia software only worked on eligible Macs using the Rosetta 2 emulation tool, which was associated with a number of shortcomings such as relatively long application startup times.

Nvidia goes to associate Blog Post about the improvements made by native M1 support. According to the graphics card vendor, the new version of GeForce Now significantly reduces the application’s power consumption, which is especially beneficial for mobile Macs and their battery life. Users also benefit from faster app launches and generally better productivity when working. According to the manufacturer, the user experience has improved significantly on Mac M1 computers such as MacBook, iMac and Mac mini. However, the M1’s native support has less of an impact on the actual gaming performance of games available through GeForce Now than in other areas of the software, as the available games run in Nvidia’s data centers and are streamed to the respective Mac via a cloud connection.

Among other innovations, GeForce Now 2.0.40 is another way to find the right games faster. To that end, Nvidia has placed a Genre panel under the Games menu that customers can use to search for titles of their choice.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is also for Pixar fans.
Speaking of games on Mac, software company Gameloft has announced an ambitious game that will be released not only for PC and consoles, but also for Apple computers. We’re talking about Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. In a mixture of RPG and life simulation, players will meet many characters, locations and other things from Disney and Pixar films, including Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Monsters, Inc., Lion. King”, “WALL-E”, “Toy Story” and many others. Series such as DuckTales are also featured. The character can be designed in accordance with the individual wishes of the user.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released exclusively for Xbox in Summer 2022 as an Early Access game. The final version for Mac, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox will be released in 2023, although no exact date has been set yet.
