A tactical RPG was revealed at Sony’s State of Play presentation yesterday. Chronicle of Diofield announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation. This one seems TRIANGLE STRATEGY bring the genre of strategy RPGs to the modern world for the PlayStation.

However, later it became known that Chronicle of Diofield will also release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) in 2022.

Chronicle of Diofield shown in the trailer, presented as a strategic role-playing game in a fantasy setting and with a 3D implementation, despite the classic viewing angle. This new franchise was developed by Square Enix in conjunction with Lancarse Ltd. developed by a team of experienced strategy game developers.

Chronicle of Diofield shines with the unique character designs of Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), the art direction of Isamu Kamikokurio (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII), and the beautiful orchestral scores by world-famous composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, who are perhaps best known for their fame soundtrack to the game Thrones. The debut trailer above gives a first glimpse of the story and the new real-time strategic combat system, also known as Real Time Tactical Battle (RTTB).

In breathtaking diorama-style combat scenes, players engage in intense real-time combat, issuing important commands and using a variety of skills, classes, and equipment to defeat their opponents.

Chronicle of Dio Field The action takes place in a beautiful unique world inspired by a mixture of fantasy, medieval and modern times. Ruled by the Shaytham dynasty, the kingdom of Allethane lived in peace on the island of DioField for 200 years, but that world was suddenly destroyed by the growth of military power and modern magic.

The realm of Allethane has rich deposits of jade – a mineral believed to be a key ingredient in magic and sorcery – and both the Empire and the Alliance have set their sights on Diofield Island. Players command an elite squad of mercenaries called the Blue Foxes. Will the name “blue fox” mean hope or grim despair?
