Last week Motorola introduced the Edge 30 Pro for 800 euros and now it is followed by the GT 2 Pro for 750 euros. The smartphone will temporarily cost only 650 euros.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the heart of the Realme GT 2 Pro, but the smartphone also offers other high-end benefits that, combined with all these features, have not yet been available in this price range. The smartphone is also equipped with the latest generation 6.7-inch OLED display from Samsung. The panel offers 1440p resolution and can adjust the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. In addition, content is displayed at 10-bit color depth and HDR up to 1400 cd/m². Support for the dynamic HDR10+ standard promoted by Samsung is available.

Three cameras from ultra-wide to macro

The back, signed by designer Naoto Fukasawa, is adorned with a thin structure and three cameras that are split into two 50MP wide and ultra wide angles, with the main camera being advertised as a Sony IMX766 sensor. With the wide-angle camera, the combination of OIS and EIS ensures both photos and videos are stabilized, the latter can be captured at resolutions up to 8K. The PDAF autofocus on the IMX766 works on all pixels on the entire sensor surface. The ultra-wide-angle camera creates images with a 150-degree field of view, which can be displayed with a fisheye effect if necessary. The third camera is dedicated exclusively to macro photography at 40x magnification and produces images with a resolution of only 3 megapixels.
