However, in general, it can already be said here: the Xbox Series S is a great console for all those who do not have to play in 4K and like to buy their games as downloads. Especially when combined with this Xbox Game Pass Ultimate it’s a really good deal – even without FIFA 22: a subscription gives you access to hundreds of games that you can download and play immediately at no additional cost or stream via the cloud without downloading. In addition to all the games from Xbox Game Studios that are included as soon as they’re released, you also have access to what EA Play has to offer, as well as many games big and small from other publishers. The offer is constantly expanding – so Game Pass will not get bored so quickly.
And don’t forget: unlike the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S is at least available. The more powerful sister console is currently in short supply at all retailers and is just as rare as the PS5 rival console. So if you can live with a few minor limitations, the Series S is an adequate replacement for a really good price.
