XG320U and XG320Q: ViewSonics gaming monitors with 32" reach the market

ViewSonic announces the imminent availability of two of the 32 “monitors of the Elite series introduced in January. The XG320U with UHD and up to 150 Hz and the XG320Q with WQHD and up to 175 Hz are expected to hit the market in November.

XG320U and XG320Q reach the market

ViewSonic had already drawn attention to the new monitors in the Elite series in January and further details followed in the summer. With a little delay, the monitors should be available in the course of November. The manufacturer gives recommended retail prices of 1,249 euros for the XG320U and 849 euros for the XG320Q.

    Both use a flat IPS panel that is certified according to the guidelines of the VESA standard DisplayHDR 600. Of the XG320U should deliver “real” 10 bit color depth, while XG320Q it is 8 bits. HDMI 2.1 is available for the higher resolution of the XG320U, while the XG320Q has a lower MPRT of 0.5 ms. The specified refresh rates apply to overclocking: The panels work natively with 144 Hz and 165 Hz. Additional equipment includes a USB hub, integrated loudspeakers and height adjustment. There is no USB-C or Pivot.

    Mini-LED flagship XG321UG is still pending

    There is still no specific date for the XG321UG with mini-LED backlight and DisplayHDR 1000, originally announced for the fourth quarter of 2021. The flagship could be delayed until next year, after all, the sister models also missed their date in the third quarter.
