Netflix has announced the international launch of Netflix Games.

And no

Previously, games were tested among Netflix subscribers in Spain, Italy and Poland, but now the games section will gradually appear in the Netflix app for Android in all regions of Netflix presence. Among such regions is Russia. As for iOS, a similar update is already being prepared.

Although Netflix mentioned the hugely popular Squid Game in its press release, it did it for the sake of it, and the series will remain just a TV series, at least for now.

On the Android app, starting today, November 2, Netflix subscribers will have access to five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast, and Teeter Up.

The developers explain:

We want to create a library of games where everyone will find something to their liking, from casual games for beginners to exciting stories that will help you immerse yourself in your favorite plots. We’re taking our first steps towards amazing gaming experiences, join us on this journey! “

A Netflix subscription is required to start playing. At the same time, the company promises that users will not be trapped by ads, additional payments and in-app purchases. You can play on multiple mobile devices through one account. Games are not available in child profiles. If the user has set a PIN to prevent children from accessing adult profiles, the same PIN is required to sign in to Netflix and play the game on the device.
