We incorrectly stated this issue is expected to be resolved within 12 hours, when in fact it’s expected to be resolved within the next 24 hours. We’re very sorry for the incorrect information shared and for the continued trouble due to this issue.

Slack is so unreachable that even the status web pages of the service cannot be reached are. The cause is that Slack for its own domain is temporarily had stored an invalid DNSSEC configuration – with DNSSEC the authenticity and integrity of DNS entries can be cryptographically ensured. Now Slack has to wait for these entries, which are now distributed in many DNS caches around the world, to run, which should happen in the course of today.
In order to resolve this faster, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will need to flush their DNS record for https://t.co/byL1MIH32C. Please reach out to your networking team to provide them with this information. (2/3)

Until this is done, users can temporarily (!) Enter an alternative DNS server without DNSSEC support in the router itself, for example 9.9.9.10through which Slack can be reached.
