Russians purchased a record number of iPhone 13 smartphones in a week

According to the source, in the first week, 93,000 new iPhones were registered in the networks of Russian operators. This is about 0.08% of all active smartphones in the country.

But more importantly, this is a record for all iPhone generations. For comparison, the iPhone 12 line a year ago showed an indicator of 57,000 smartphones activated per week, while the iPhone 11 and iPhone 7 lines had the best performance earlier – 67,000 units in the first week. That is, we not only have a new record, but also growth by 39% relative to the previous record and by 63% relative to the result of a year ago.

It is also worth noting that about half of those 93,000 are the iPhone 13 Pro. 33% was taken by the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the iPhone 13 mini was chosen by only 4,000 buyers, which confirms the conclusion based on the iPhone 12 line: very few people need ultra-compact flagships.

About 11% of those who bought a new iPhone have used a device from the iPhone 12 line before it, that is, they have changed their smartphone in a year or less. 10% switched from the iPhone 11 Pro, about 9% – from the iPhone 11. As for those who switched from the Android camp, they counted about 10%.
