HWiNFO v7.12 for Core i-12000: System tool spruces up for Intel's hybrid CPUs

The latest version 7.12 of the HWiNFO system tool has been spruced up for the Alder Lake-S hybrid CPUs from Intel expected in November. The new program tabs of the system tool have been adapted so that the E-Cores (“Grace Mont”) and P-Cores (“Golden Cove”) are better divided.

Z690, H670, B660 and H610 are on board

In addition to Alder Lake-S for the desktop, the official ones are listed Release Notes for the first time also Alder Lake-N, which is expected to be the latest generation of embedded CPUs in the Atom or Pentium class and up to four efficient Grace Mont cores in the second half of 2022. The latest chipsets Z690, H670, B660 and H610 are now also supported by HWiNFO v7.12.

  • Added ability to define a custom range for invalid sensor values.
  • Redesigned summary window.
  • Enhanced sensor monitoring on MSI Z690 and B660 series.
  • Added readout of DDR5 SPD via I3C on Sapphire Rapids (preliminary).
  • Enhanced sensor monitoring on GIGABYTE Z690, B660 and H610 series.
  • Added monitoring of CPU Utility – same utilization as reported by Task Manager in Windows 8 and later.

In addition to minor improvements for the support of DDR5 and Intel’s Sapphire Rapids server architecture, the dark mode has also been revised, which now has an even darker theme.
