The German Gigaset Communications, once a division of the well-known German conglomerate Siemens, and now just its subsidiary, has released its new product – a smartphone called the Gigaset GS5.
Made in Germany, the model boasts a “twist” that has rarely been seen lately – a removable battery.
Gigaset GS5 is equipped with a 6.3-inch display with a Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels), a 16-megapixel front camera in a waterdrop notch, a main dual camera (48 and 8 megapixels), a fingerprint scanner on the back, a MediaTek Helio single-chip system G85, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, a 4500 mAh battery, as well as a triple slot for two SIM cards and microSD. NFC support is provided.
The smartphone runs Android 11 and Gigaset guarantees an upgrade to Android 12. In Europe, the Gigaset GS5 is available in gray and purple for 299 euros.
