Xiaomi Vice President and Head of Redmi Brand Lu Weibing has confirmed that the 10,000th Mi Home store is opening in China.
The company’s first store was opened in September 2019, and the 1000th store was launched in January 2020. Interestingly, the company’s 5,000th store opened in April this year. It turns out that in just over six months the company opened 5,000 stores, or 700 stores each month.
In the early years after its founding, Xiaomi was mainly focused on the online sales platform, however, several years ago, it began to actively build a network of retail stores around the world.
At the beginning of the year, she set a new record by opening more than a thousand Xiaomi stores at the same time, which immediately went into operation.
