Roku has unveiled the Roku Streaming Stick 4K, which supports 4K resolution, and the Roku Streaming Stick 4K +, which features the Roku Voice Remote Pro. According to the manufacturer, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K loads 30% faster than the previous model, supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 +, and features a redesigned long-range Wi-Fi receiver that delivers up to 2x faster speeds. In the US, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K will retail for $ 50. Voice control is included, but you can also voice control the Roku Streaming Stick 4K from Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled devices. AirPlay 2 support lets you stream content to your iPhone, iPad or Mac. The Roku Streaming Stick 4K also supports HomeKit, which allows you to control Roku devices using Siri and the Home app on Apple devices.
The Roku Streaming Stick 4K + costs $ 70. It is claimed to be a “brand new product” that integrates the Roku Streaming Stick 4K and the Roku Voice Remote Pro. The Roku Voice Remote Pro features battery power and voice-activated remote search for a lost remote.
Sales in the US will begin in mid-October, and in Canada, the UK and other countries where Roku devices are sold in the coming months.
