The two open source e-mail clients became a double pack evolution, among other things an integral part of the free desktop environment Gnome for Linux and Unixoide operating systems, and Mozilla Thunderbird updated. The two free applications receive minor bug fixes and optimizations.
Twice small product maintenance
Mozilla Thunderbird receives a new menu option in the latest version 91.1.1, which allows users to deactivate the encryption of the email subject for a single email. In addition, a bug has been fixed under Windows 7 that could result in dropdown menus not being readable when creating messages when Thunderbird was running in dark mode. Also with regard to encryption using OpenPGP has been improved.

- Dropdown fields in message compose window were unreadable on Windows 7 with a dark theme
- Buttons on compose window dialogs did not have a visual indication of focus
- Multiple bulk mail notification warnings were displayed
- Images attached from a web page were not sent as expected
- OpenPGP public key was attached multiple times when forwading a message
