The Japanese company Isuzu announced the start of sales in Russia of a new version of the Isuzu D-Max pickup – an extreme variation with modifications by Icelandic Arctic Trucks.
Arctic Trucks specializes in the modernization of 4WD vehicles for use in difficult conditions. The new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks marked AT35 21MY received improved off-road characteristics compared to the base model, such as increased angles of entry, exit and roll-over, increased ground clearance, and reduced specific ground pressure.
The car uses a 190-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. There is a strengthening of the frame structure, a change in the geometry of the body, standard mud tires of the tire, 6 mm of metal protection of the lower part of the body, a minimum ground clearance of 273 mm, a rear differential lock and a torque of 450 Nm, a wheel width increased to 315 mm, a side profile of 220 mm , a 140-liter fuel tank, which is almost twice the standard volume, a radio-controlled winch and a snorkel.
In the cheapest version, the upgraded Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks will cost 3.6 million rubles.
