Sources confirm that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will not be available with 256GB of non-volatile storage. Buyers will be available in versions with 128 and 512 GB, as well as 1 TB of flash memory.
Someone might be upset with Apple’s decision, but the company has done the same in the past. For example, with the release of the iPhone 7, the company canceled the 64GB version that was the most popular at the time. Buyers were offered versions with 32 or 128 GB of flash memory.
Once shoppers got used to this choice and planned to buy an iPhone X equipped with 128GB of non-volatile memory, Apple changed the rules again. In 2017, with the release of the company’s first smartphone equipped with the famous bangs, customers had to choose between 64 and 256 GB of flash memory.
While users settled on the 128GB version of storage and expected it with the iPhone X, Apple has made some new changes. This time around, the iPhone X didn’t have a 128GB storage option. The company only had 64GB of storage, as well as 256GB storage options. Of course, this forced users to reconfigure for new storage options.
Today, 256GB storage is very popular, but in the absence of such an option, buyers will have to overpay for a version that is equipped with 512GB of storage.
As for the amount of RAM, the older versions of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max should receive 6 GB of RAM, while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will have 4 GB of RAM.
The iPhone 13 is rumored to take place in less than two weeks on September 14th.
