H3 Hybrid and H3Pro Hybrid: Epos expands headset series with Bluetooth and radio

Post a Comment

After the appearance of the H3 (test) in the first half of 2021, Epos is expanding its headset portfolio to include the mix between wired playback and Bluetooth functionality in the form of the H3 Hybrid and the H3Pro Hybrid with additional wireless transmission.

Epos has only given more detailed information for the H3 Hybrid. In addition to the more normal specifications such as the frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and recordings from 100 Hz to 7,500 Hz, the headset should be noticed by buyers mainly because of its Bluetooth support. Here, the manufacturer relies primarily on gaming audio and versatility. The H3 Hybrid is also equipped with two microphones, the larger of which is attached by magnet and therefore easily removable, while the smaller one is integrated into the auricle. The headset is also suitable for mobile use. The battery should supply the new H3 with energy for up to 37 hours.

As already mentioned, the connection is wireless Bluetooth version 5.2 as well as wired USB and 3.5 mm jack. Simultaneous use of the jack connection and Bluetooth is also possible – so you can talk to your fellow players in voice chat during a gaming session. The function is also available when connected via USB. In addition, the H3 Hybrid is compatible with PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.

The H3 Hybrid is now available at an RRP of 179 euros.

Funk variant also in the starting blocks

At the same time, Epos has announced the first, albeit sparse, information about the wireless version of the H3Pro Hybrid, which is supposed to offer radio and Bluetooth technology and higher-quality audio quality as well as long battery life. Further details are to be announced shortly.
