According to the latest data from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, all manufacturing issues have now been resolved and the Apple Watch Series 7 will be released according to the original schedule. Apple is expected to begin shipping the devices by the end of September 2021.

Manufacturing issues reportedly were related to the introduction of new panel-related manufacturing processes and a new selection of smartwatch OLED screen suppliers. The Apple Watch Series 7 is rumored to have a flat design with sharp edges, similar to the iPhone 12.

Ming-Chi Kuo added that mass production of the Apple Watch Series 7 will begin in mid-September.
