AMD Radeon RX 6600: The non-XT version with 8 GB should be released on October 13th

The little sister of the Radeon RX 6600 XT will be launched in mid-October. Rumor has it that the tests will appear on October 13th, and that trading will be operated on a date that is still unknown. No reference design is expected, the partners take care of everything, including the samples for the press.

The Radeon RX 6600 XT, which was presented in August, is also not available in the reference design. 28 instead of 32 CUs will be the primary differentiator between the AMD Radeon RX 6600 and the Radeon RX 6600 XT (test) based on Navi 23. 8 GByte GDDR6 memory is also available in the smaller entry-level version, in the end it is up to the partners to set the clock rates – there are no precise statements on this yet.

And the price? Here the timing could hardly be worse, the RX 6600 XT was more expensive than ever at the beginning of this week, instead of 380 euros RRP in stores at least 570 euros.
